Autism Awareness Day- April 2, 2021

This year, on Autism Awareness Day, we at Words Speech Therapy held a special event that was both meaningful and joyous. Our team came together to raise awareness and spread knowledge about autism in a vibrant and engaging way.

We distributed balloons, each tethered to an informative leaflet about autism. The balloons, in various shades of blue—symbolised the diversity. Each leaflet provided valuable information on understanding autism, supporting those who live with it, and embracing the rich diversity it brings to our lives.

At Words Speech Therapy, we are committed to creating a more inclusive society where every individual, regardless of their differences, is recognised and valued. Autism Awareness Day is a reminder of the strides we still need to make in understanding and acceptance, and we are proud to play a part in this global movement.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this celebration. Your support and curiosity make it possible for us to continue our work in promoting awareness and understanding. Let’s keep the conversation going, not just on Autism Awareness Day, but every day.
